What is a prayer?

Hi Friends

Have you wonder how the world came into existence?

The first book of the Bible Genesis 1:1 tells us, in the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. God created everything that your eyes can see.

He created us so that we can commune with Him and share our thoughts with Him.

In the beginning, humans have the privilege to speak to God directly. In Gen 3:8 it tells us that God walk the garden with them, so often that they could recognize His footsteps.

This communion with him was cut away, because man given the freedom to choose; have chosen sin and disobedience to God. (Gen 3:1-6)

That is why the bible says

No one is righteous not even one.
Romans 3:10(NKJV)

All of us have sin and fall short of the Glory of God.
Romans 3:23(NKJV)

Therefore sin entered the world through one man and death through sin and in this way death came to all man because all sin.
Romans 5:12(NKJV)

But God demonstrates His own Love for us that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
Romans 5:8(NKJV)

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 6:23(NKJV)

Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.
Romans 10:13(NKJV)

If you confess with your mouth Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raise Him from the dead you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.
Romans 10:9-10(NKJV)

Friend Prayer is communion with God walking the garden with Him again. Receiving the peace, the joy, the happiness which He first intended for us to have.

By receiving Jesus into your heart opens the gates of heaven, and God waiting to receive you with His open arms.

If your heart desires to come into communion with God say this prayer out loud.

Dear Lord Jesus
I know I am a sinner, I invite you into my heart, and I make you the Lord of my life.
Thank you for dying on the cross for my sins and allowing me to walk with You again in the garden of my life. I pray all this in Jesus name.
Amen.
