I decided to risk bringing my digital camera with me out onto the water (luckily I managed not to tip over). I had sealed it in a ziplock bag before putting it in its usual case, so every time I wanted to take a picture I would have to unzip the case, open the plastic bag, and turn on the camera (and then I'd have to put it back in again after I was done). Nevertheless, it was beautiful and peaceful out on the river, and I'm glad I
